Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your professional safari guide and transferred to Tarangire National Park. The drive takes you through the scenic countryside of northern Tanzania, passing local villages, rolling hills, and Maasai landscapes before arriving at one of the country's most spectacular wildlife destinations.

Tarangire National Park is renowned for its massive elephant herds, iconic baobab trees, and the life-giving Tarangire River, which attracts an abundance of wildlife throughout the year. Enjoy your first exciting game drive as you search for elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, and a wide variety of bird species. After an unforgettable day in the park, continue to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2

Ngorongoro Crater

After an early breakfast, depart for the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater and descend 600 meters into the world's largest intact volcanic caldera for an unforgettable game drive. Home to more than 30,000 animals, the crater offers one of the best opportunities to spot the Big Five, including the rare black rhino, as well as elephants, lions, buffaloes, hippos, zebras, wildebeest, hyenas, and an incredible variety of birdlife.

The crater's diverse habitats open grasslands, acacia woodlands, swamps, and soda lakes create a thriving ecosystem that supports an abundance of wildlife year-round. You may also see Maasai herders grazing their cattle alongside wild animals, offering a unique glimpse into the harmonious coexistence of people and nature.

Enjoy lunch in the crater before continuing your game drive. In the late afternoon, ascend the crater and return to Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay at Ngedere Lodge. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, and bottled drinking water are included.

After breakfast, depart for Lake Manyara National Park, a beautiful and diverse wildlife sanctuary nestled at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment. Despite its compact size, the park is renowned for its varied ecosystems, including lush groundwater forests, open grasslands, acacia woodlands, and the alkaline Lake Manyara.

Enjoy a game drive through the park, where you may encounter elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, hippos, baboons, and the famous tree-climbing lions. The lake is also a haven for birdlife, attracting thousands of flamingos and more than 400 bird species, making it a paradise for bird enthusiasts.

After a picnic lunch and a final game drive, begin your journey back to Arusha. Arrive in the late afternoon or early evening, where you will be dropped off at your hotel or Kilimanjaro International Airport, marking the end of your unforgettable Tanzanian safari.
