As you explore the savannah and lush swamps, you will also encounter large herds of plains zebras, wildebeests, cape buffaloes, impalas, and Thomson's gazelles. Full Day Exploration in Amboseli

Wake up early for a morning game drive when wildlife is most active and Mount Kilimanjaro is often clearest. You will spend the day exploring the diverse habitats of Amboseli. You'll track massive elephant herds migrating to the lush Enkongo Narok swamps, where they wade alongside pods of hippos and heavy-set cape buffaloes. On the open plains, you will encounter large concentrations of plains zebras, wildebeests, Thomson’s and Grant’s gazelles, and the long-necked gerenuk browsing on higher bushes.
The Park is also a haven for a rich variety of bird species, boasting over 400 varieties; keep your eyes peeled for the elegant grey crowned crane, vibrant kingfishers, and massive martial eagles soaring overhead.
After an exciting and fulfilling day of wildlife viewing, you will head back to Kibo Safari Camp to relax by the pool, share stories around the roaring campfire, and enjoy the magical evening ambiance before spending another restful night under the starlit African sky.

Day 4

After a hearty breakfast, you will leave Amboseli behind and travel into the heart of the spectacular Great Rift Valley, passing by the great rift valley view point for photos before proceeding to the freshwater oasis of Lake Naivasha. You will check into the Lake Naivasha Sopa Resort.
Your afternoon features a scenic boat ride on the calm waters of Lake Naivasha. Here, you will get up close to massive, yawning pods of hippos and spot an incredible array of waterbirds, including the iconic African fish eagle diving for prey, pelicans, herons and kingfishers. The boat will drop you at Crescent Island Game Sanctuary, a hidden gem and private sanctuary where the absence of large predators allows you to embark on a thrilling walking safari. You can walk safely and freely right alongside the grazers.
As dusk approaches, you will return to Sopa Naivasha. After dark, you might spot hippos grazing on the resort lawns as you head to the restaurant for a delicious dinner and an overnight stay.
