Arrival in Arusha

Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARK), you will be warmly welcomed by a Spencer Safari Limited representative. After a short briefing about your upcoming adventure, you will be transferred to your hotel in Arusha.

Spend the rest of the day relaxing after your journey or explore the vibrant city of Arusha at your leisure. Depending on your arrival time, you may visit local markets, coffee shops, or simply unwind at your hotel in preparation for your safari.

In the evening, enjoy dinner and receive a detailed safari briefing from your professional guide, who will answer any questions about the days ahead.

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After an early breakfast, depart from Arusha for Tarangire National Park, famous for its giant baobab trees, large elephant herds, and diverse wildlife. Upon arrival, enjoy a full-day game drive through the park, where you may encounter elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, impalas, warthogs, and a wide variety of birdlife.

Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park before continuing your afternoon game drive. In the late afternoon, drive to your lodge or tented camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Tarangire to Central Serengeti National park

After breakfast, travel through the scenic Ngorongoro Conservation Area on your way to the world-famous Serengeti National Park. Enjoy spectacular views of the highlands before entering the endless plains of the Serengeti.

After lunch, begin your first game drive in search of the Great Migration and the park's incredible wildlife. Depending on the season, you may witness thousands of wildebeests and zebras roaming the plains alongside predators such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards.

Spend the entire day exploring the Serengeti with your experienced safari guide. The day's route will be planned according to the current location of the Great Migration, maximizing your chances of witnessing this incredible natural event.

Cental Serengeti

After an early morning game drive and breakfast, continue enjoying wildlife viewing as you travel toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Upon reaching the Ngorongoro Crater rim, take in breathtaking views of one of Africa's most spectacular natural wonders before heading to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Ngorongoro Crater

After an early breakfast, descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater for an unforgettable half-day game drive. The crater is home to an incredible concentration of wildlife, including the Big Five, with excellent chances of spotting the endangered black rhino, lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, hyenas, and thousands of flamingos around Lake Magadi.

Enjoy a picnic lunch at the famous Hippo Pool before ascending the crater and driving back to Arusha.

Depending on your flight schedule, you will either be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) for your onward flight or dropped off at your hotel in Arusha, marking the end of your unforgettable 6-Day Great Migration Safari Group Tour.
