Arusha to Serengeti National Park

For guests arriving through Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), our driver will welcome you on arrival and transfer you to Arusha the day before your safari.
For guests already in Arusha, your safari begins with a morning pickup from your hotel.

Drive towards the legendary Serengeti, passing through the scenic highlands and Ngorongoro Conservation Area before reaching the vast savannah plains. After entering Serengeti, enjoy an exciting game drive through the park, with opportunities to see lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest and other wildlife.

Later, continue to your public campsite in Central Serengeti, such as Nyani or Tumbili Campsite.
Settle into your simple dome tent, enjoy dinner around the campfire and experience the unique atmosphere of sleeping in the heart of the African wilderness.

Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Wake up to the sounds of the Serengeti and enjoy an early morning game drive in Central Serengeti, one of Tanzania’s best areas for spotting big cats. Explore the open plains in search of lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, wildebeest, zebras and other wildlife.

Continue with an extended game drive through the day, enjoying a picnic lunch in the wilderness and making the most of your time in the park. In the afternoon, begin your journey towards the Ngorongoro highlands, with an en-route game drive as you leave the Serengeti.

Arrive at Ngorongoro Simba Public Campsite on the crater rim, where you will set up your simple dome tent, enjoy dinner around the campfire and spend the night surrounded by the sounds of the African wilderness.

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha/Arusha Airport

After breakfast, descend into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater for your final game drive.

Explore the crater floor, home to an extraordinary concentration of wildlife and breathtaking landscapes.

Search for the Big Five, including the endangered black rhino, as well as lions, elephants, buffaloes, wildebeest, zebras, gazelles and hippos around the crater’s wetlands. Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the crater before ascending the walls and beginning your journey back to Arusha.

Upon arrival in Arusha, you will be dropped off at your preferred hotel, lodge or Arusha Airport, marking the end of your 3-day camping adventure.
