Nairobi – Masai Mara National Reserve

Your safari begins with an early morning pick-up from your Nairobi hotel, residence, or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. You'll meet your driver-guide before departing for the world-renowned Masai Mara National Reserve. You travel through the spectacular Great Rift Valley, stopping briefly at a scenic viewpoint to admire the breathtaking escarpment before continuing through Narok Town.

You will arrive at Enkorok Mara Camp in time for lunch and a short rest before setting out on your first afternoon game drive. You'll explore the reserve's vast golden plains in search of lions, elephants, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, cheetahs, and numerous antelope species. As the sun sets over the Mara, you will return to the camp for dinner and a relaxing overnight stay.

Full-Day Masai Mara National Reserve

After an early breakfast, you depart with a packed picnic lunch for an exciting full-day game drive in the world-renowned Masai Mara National Reserve. You'll spend the day exploring its vast golden plains, acacia-dotted savannahs, riverine forests, and seasonal marshes while searching for the Big Five lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino as well as cheetahs, hyenas, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, gazelles, topis, elands, and a remarkable variety of birdlife.

Visit the famous Mara River, home to large pods of hippos and Nile crocodiles, and, during the Great Migration season, witness the spectacular river crossings. You'll enjoy a picnic lunch in the heart of the reserve before continuing your afternoon game drive. In the evening, you may choose to have an (optional) visit to a traditional Maasai village (optional) to experience the local culture and way of life before returning to Enkorok Mara Camp for dinner and a relaxing overnight stay.

Masai Mara National Reserve – Nairobi

After an early breakfast at your camp, you will check out and begin your journey back to Nairobi, enjoying the scenic drive through the Great Rift Valley with its rolling hills, escarpments, and rural landscapes. En route, you may choose to stop at Lake Naivasha for (optional activities), including a relaxing boat ride to view hippos and a wide variety of birdlife, or a guided nature walk in the tranquil surroundings. After your optional stop, you'll continue your journey to Nairobi at a comfortable pace, reflecting on the memorable safari experience, marking the end of your unforgettable Kenya safari.
