Nairobi to Samburu

Depart Nairobi in the morning and drive north through the scenic central highlands, with brief stops along the way. Arrive at Samburu National Reserve in time for lunch at your lodge or camp. After some relaxation, head out for an afternoon game drive in search of elephants, lions, leopards, and the unique Samburu Special Five—Grevy's zebra, reticulated giraffe, Somali ostrich, Beisa oryx, and gerenuk. Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
