Southern Churches of Lalibela – Fly to Gondar

After breakfast, continue exploring Lalibela by visiting the southern cluster of churches, including the world-famous Bete Giyorgis (Church of St. George), the most iconic of all Lalibela's churches. After completing your visit, transfer to the airport for your flight to Gondar. Upon arrival, enjoy an afternoon tour of the magnificent Royal Enclosure (Fasil Ghebbi), a UNESCO World Heritage Site featuring castles, palaces, and royal buildings constructed by Ethiopian emperors during the 17th century. After breakfast, drive north toward the spectacular viewpoints of Wunania and Kosoye on the edge of the Simien Mountains. Enjoy panoramic views of dramatic escarpments, deep valleys, and the surrounding highlands. Visit the historic Bete Israel (Falasha) community to learn about the traditions and history of Ethiopia's Jewish heritage. Return to Gondar in the afternoon and transfer to the airport for your flight back to Addis Ababa, bringing your memorable Ethiopian cultural journey to an end.
