Nairobi-Masai Mara National Reserve

Your safari begins with pickup from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or your Nairobi hotel. Drive towards the Maasai Mara, with a stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint for photos and a short break. Enjoy the wide views before continuing through the Kenyan countryside.

Arrive at your Camp in time for lunch and check-in. In the afternoon, head out for your first game drive and feel the excitement of entering the Mara. Drive across the open plains with your guide as you search for lions, cheetahs, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras and other wildlife. Return to camp for dinner and overnight.

Full-Day Maasai Mara Safari & Maasai Village

You may choose to start your day with an optional (at own cost ) hot air balloon safari, rising above the Mara as the sun comes up and the plains glow below. Alternatively, enjoy breakfast before leaving with a packed lunch for a full-day game drive. Explore different parts of the reserve with your guide, following recent wildlife activity and looking for exciting sightings.

If you travel during the Great Migration season, you may visit the Mara River and, if conditions are right, witness wildebeest crossing the river. Enjoy your packed lunch at a designated picnic area before continuing your game drive. In the evening, enjoy a complimentary Maasai village visit when booking with us to meet local people, learn about their way of life, see traditional homes and enjoy songs and dances before returning to camp.

Maasai Mara – Nairobi

After breakfast, leave the Maasai Mara and begin your journey towards Nairobi. Along the way, stop at Lake Naivasha for a complimentary boat ride when booking with us. Cruise across the calm waters and look out for hippos, waterbirds and other wildlife along the lake. Enjoy the peaceful views and a relaxing break after your time in the Mara.

Alternatively, choose a guided nature walk at your (own cost), where you can walk among free-roaming wildlife and enjoy the area at a slower pace. After your Lake Naivasha experience, continue to Nairobi, arriving with wonderful memories of Kenya’s wildlife, Maasai culture and beautiful scenery.
