Tarangire national park

Your adventure begins with an early morning flight from Zanzibar to Arusha, where your professional safari guide will meet you upon arrival. From there, enjoy a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its majestic baobab trees, vast savannah, and large elephant herds. Embark on an exciting game drive through the park, where you may encounter elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, wildebeests, impalas, and a variety of bird species. The Tarangire River attracts abundant wildlife, offering excellent game-viewing opportunities throughout the year. Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park before continuing your afternoon safari. Later, drive to your lodge or tented camp near the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for dinner and an overnight stay, preparing for the next day's exploration of the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater.

Ngorongoro crater

After an early breakfast, depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend 600 meters into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater for a morning game drive. Known as the world's largest intact volcanic caldera and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the crater is home to an incredible concentration of wildlife, including the Big Five, zebras, wildebeests, hippos, hyenas, gazelles, and over 500 bird species. Enjoy a picnic lunch at the scenic hippo pool before continuing your wildlife safari across the crater floor. Your expert guide will help you spot animals while sharing fascinating insights into this unique ecosystem. In the afternoon, ascend the crater and begin your scenic drive back to arusha airport arriving in the early evening, back to zanzibar, marking the end of your unforgettable 2-Day Tarangire and Ngorongoro Crater Adventure.
