After breakfast, you depart Tarangire National Park and travel toward the world-renowned Serengeti National Park via the scenic Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Along the way, you'll enjoy breathtaking views of rolling hills, Maasai villages, and picturesque landscapes before entering the Serengeti. The park's name comes from the Maasai word Siringet, meaning "endless plains." Upon arrival, you begin a game drive en route to your camp, where you may encounter lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, cheetahs, hyenas, and a variety of antelope species. Depending on the season, you may also witness the spectacular Great Wildebeest Migration, one of the world's wildlife events. You will enjoy a picnic lunch before continuing your afternoon game drive through the park's diverse habitats. You wake up to the sounds of the African wilderness and enjoy an early breakfast before setting out for a full day of game viewing in the legendary Serengeti National Park. Accompanied by your experienced professional safari guide, explore the park's vast plains, acacia woodlands, and riverine habitats, each supporting an incredible diversity of wildlife. Throughout the day, you'll have excellent opportunities to spot the Big Five, including lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, and, with a bit of luck, the elusive black rhinoceros. You will enjoy an early morning game drive in Serengeti National Park, when wildlife is most active and the soft morning light provides excellent photography opportunities. Look out for lions, leopards, elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, cheetahs, and a variety of antelope as your guide shares insights into the park's remarkable ecosystem. You'll return to camp for breakfast before checking out and departing with a game drive en route toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You travel through the plains of the Serengeti before ascending the lush highlands of Ngorongoro, where the landscape changes dramatically. Upon arrival at the crater rim, you enjoy panoramic views of the world's largest intact volcanic caldera, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its wildlife and natural beauty. Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha

After an early breakfast at your lodge, you will descend approximately 600 meters into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa's most remarkable natural wonders. Often referred to as the world's largest intact volcanic caldera, the crater is home to a concentration of wildlife within its lush grasslands, forests, wetlands, and soda lake. You'll enjoy a half-day game drive as you search for the endangered black rhinoceros, which is most commonly seen in this protected ecosystem.
You'll pause for a picnic lunch at a designated site on the crater floor while surrounded by breathtaking landscapes and abundant wildlife. After lunch, you will continue your game drive before ascending the crater rim and beginning your journey back to Arusha. You'll arrive in the late afternoon, where you will be transferred to your hotel or Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward flight, marking the end of a Northern Tanzania safari and welcoming you again.
