Early Morning Departure from Entebbe

After picking you up from Entebbe, we will drive with you for 5-6 hours to Aramaga Rift Valley Lodge. Once you are all settled, refreshed, and had lunch, we will drive through impressive western Uganda to the important town of Fort Portal, which overlooks the Ruwenzori Range as well as the volcanoes of the Mufumbiro Range. There, you will visit coffee and tea plantations. In the evening, we will have a sundowner and go back to the lodge where dinner will be served.

Kasenda Crater Lakes

After waking up in the exciting Ugandan nature from a night which surely was full of interesting animal sounds, and having had breakfast, we will be canoeing on the pristine volcanic crater lakes Nyinambuga and Mwamba. After this thrilling experience, we will head back for lunch and some relaxation. In the afternoon, we are going to return to do astonishing crater lake ridge nature hikes. From the summit of a 16,000 meters steep ridge, you will have a panoramic view of the craters. After this exacting activity it is time to drive back home and have dinner.

Kibale Forest National Park and Queen Elizabeth National Park

The highlight - in the morning we will be driving to Kibale Forest National Park, the "Primate Capital of the World", which features a lot of the amazing, typical animals that Ugandan's tropical rainforests are well-kown for. Once we arrive there after a shorter drive, we will be doing a walking safari with an experienced and armed guide. We may see animals like chimpanzees, elephants, blue monkeys and various bird species in this swampy area. Back at the camp, and having had lunch, we will be doing a game drive in Uganda's most popular savannah safari destination, Queen Elizabeth National Park. There, we may spot tree-climbing lions or spotted hyenas. Back at the camp, and after a sundowner, there will be dinner.
