Day 1

Tarangire National Park

Your safari begins with an early morning departure from Arusha towards Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s hidden gems renowned for its vast elephant population and iconic baobab trees.

Enjoy an exciting game drive as you search for elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, and numerous bird species. During the dry season, the Tarangire River becomes a magnet for wildlife, offering excellent opportunities for wildlife viewing.

A delicious hot lunch will be served inside the park before continuing your afternoon game drive.

In the late afternoon, depart Tarangire and drive to Karatu for dinner and overnight stay at Suricata Boma Lodge.

Upon entering Serengeti National Park, begin your game drive across the endless plains that make this destination one of Africa’s greatest wildlife sanctuaries.

After an early breakfast, depart Serengeti and drive towards the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater.

Descend 600 meters into the crater floor for an unforgettable game drive in this UNESCO World Heritage Site. Ngorongoro Crater is home to one of Africa’s highest concentrations of wildlife, including black rhinos, lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, zebras, wildebeests, and hyenas.

Enjoy a picnic lunch near the hippo pool while taking in the incredible scenery.

After the game drive, ascend the crater walls and begin your journey back to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon or evening.
