Arusha – Momella Gate- Miriakamba Hut

After breakfast, depart from Arusha for Momella Gate in Arusha National Park, where you will complete registration and meet your mountain guide, porters, cook, and armed ranger. Begin your trek through open grasslands and lush rainforest, with excellent opportunities to spot giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, warthogs, antelopes, and a variety of birdlife. As you ascend, enjoy beautiful scenery and fresh mountain air before arriving at Miriakamba Hut after approximately 4–6 hours of hiking. Relax, enjoy a freshly prepared dinner, and spend the night at the hut as you prepare for the next stage of your Mount Meru adventure.

Miriakamba Hut – Saddle Hut – Summit – Miriakamba Hut

After breakfast at Miriakamba Hut, begin your final descent through the lush rainforest of Arusha National Park. The trail offers another opportunity to enjoy the mountain's rich biodiversity, with chances to spot black-and-white colobus monkeys, blue monkeys, colorful birds, and other wildlife along the way. Upon arrival at Momella Gate, receive your Mount Meru summit certificate in recognition of your achievement. Your driver will then transfer you back to Arusha, where you will be dropped off at your hotel, bringing your unforgettable Mount Meru trekking adventure to a memorable conclusion.
