Arrival in Uganda, Airport Pick-up, Shoebill Tracking & Transfer to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your professional safari guide. Begin your adventure with an early shoebill tracking excursion in Mabamba Swamp, where you'll explore the tranquil papyrus wetlands by canoe in search of the rare Shoebill Stork and other fascinating bird species.
After the excursion, begin your journey north to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. Arrive in the evening, check in at your lodge, and relax as you prepare for the next day's rhino tracking adventure.

Rhino Tracking & Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park

After breakfast, enjoy a guided rhino tracking experience on foot at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. Accompanied by experienced rangers, you'll have the unique opportunity to observe Uganda's only wild rhinos in their natural habitat while learning about ongoing conservation efforts.
After the tracking experience, continue your scenic drive to Kibale Forest National Park, passing through picturesque tea plantations, rolling hills, and traditional villages. Arrive in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.

Chimpanzee Tracking in Kibale Forest National Park

Following an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing before entering the rainforest in search of habituated chimpanzees.
