Your expedition begins with an early morning 4x4 pickup from Arusha, driving straight to the raw wilderness bordering Tarangire National Park. Arrive at Elephant lodge to meet an expert armed ranger for an exhilarating 3-hour morning walking safari. Catching the cool early hours when wildlife is most active, you will track fresh animal footprints on foot, examine towering baobab trees, and feel the adrenaline of observing the African bush at eye level.

Following a fresh lunch, journey up the Great Rift Valley to the vibrant green oasis of Mto wa Mbu. Swap your vehicle for mountain bikes to start an active afternoon cultural immersion. Pedal through red-dust paths lined by thriving banana plantations and local rice farms. Interact with small-scale farmers before riding into the energetic town center to explore the local food market, watching traders display their vibrant colorful produce.
