Arusha to Marangu Gate

After an early breakfast, your guide will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha and drive to Marangu Gate, the main entrance to Mount Kilimanjaro National Park. After completing the park registration, begin your guided hike through the lush rainforest along the Marangu Route.

As you walk beneath towering trees, keep an eye out for black-and-white colobus monkeys, blue monkeys, colorful birds, and unique mountain vegetation. The trail gradually ascends to Mandara Hut (2,720 meters), where you'll enjoy a packed lunch while surrounded by the peaceful mountain environment. If time and weather permit, you can take a short walk to the Maundi Crater viewpoint for panoramic views of northern Tanzania

After enjoying the scenery, descend back to Marangu Gate, where your driver will be waiting to transfer you to your accommodation in the Arusha area for dinner and an overnight stay.

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania's most spectacular wildlife destinations. The park is famous for its enormous elephant population, majestic baobab trees, and the Tarangire River, which serves as a vital water source for wildlife throughout the year.

Enjoy a full-day game drive as you search for elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, impalas, warthogs, and various antelope species. Tarangire is also a paradise for bird enthusiasts, with over 500 bird species recorded within the park.

Pause for a picnic lunch at a designated picnic site before continuing your afternoon game drive. In the late afternoon, drive to your lodge in Karatu for dinner and overnight.

Karatu to Ngorongoro Crater

After an early breakfast, drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend approximately 600 meters into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater for an unforgettable game drive.

Known as one of Africa's greatest natural wonders, the crater is home to an incredible diversity of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeests, hyenas, hippos, jackals, and a remarkable variety of birdlife. With a little luck, you may also spot the rare and endangered black rhinoceros.

Enjoy a picnic lunch at the famous Ngoitokitok Hippo Pool while watching hippos relax in the water. Continue your wildlife viewing before ascending the crater in the afternoon and driving back to Arusha, where you will be dropped off at your hotel or the airport, marking the end of your memorable Tanzanian adventure.
