Moremi Game Reserve | Mokoro Excursion and Afternoon Game Drive

After breakfast, glide through the serene channels and lagoons of the Okavango Delta within Moremi Game Reserve on a traditional mokoro excursion. Guided by skilled local polers, this peaceful water-level journey lets you absorb the calm atmosphere while spotting hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and diverse waterbirds.

You will return to your accommodation around midday for some relaxation. In the afternoon, embark on an exciting game drive through Moremi’s diverse habitats, including open grasslands, floodplains, and dense mopane forests. Maun - Nata | Makgadikgadi Landscapes and Bird Sanctuary

After breakfast, depart Moremi and travel southeast toward Nata, a small settlement on the edge of the vast Makgadikgadi salt pans. The drive unfolds through open savannahs and increasingly arid landscapes, offering a sharp contrast to the Okavango wetlands. Along the way, you can enjoy the changing scenery and spot wildlife adapted to these drier environments.

Upon arriving in Nata, check in at your accommodation and settle in before the afternoon activity. Later, visit the nearby Nata Bird Sanctuary, a protected area renowned for its exceptional birdlife.
