Arrive at Victoria Falls Airport, where you'll be met and transferred to the renowned Ilala Lodge Hotel, ideally located within walking distance of the spectacular Victoria Falls. Spend the afternoon exploring one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World, following rainforest pathways to breathtaking viewpoints overlooking Mosi-oa-Tunya - "The Smoke That Thunders." Guests will need to pay the entry fees to the Falls, included as an added local payment.

The remainder of the evening is yours to enjoy. Relax at Ilala Lodge, explore the vibrant town of Victoria Falls, or enjoy dinner at one of the area's excellent restaurants before spending the night at your hotel.

Day 2

Welcome to the Chobe

Welcome to the Chobe

After a breakfast, depart Victoria Falls around 10:00 am and enjoy the scenic drive through Zambezi National Park before crossing into Botswana. Arrive at Chobe House around midday, where you'll settle into one of our riverside chalets or, for larger groups, our exclusive private villa. Guests will need to pay any entry fees at the border between Zimbabwe and Botswana.

After lunch, board one of our boats for a sunset safari on the Chobe River. Renowned for its vast elephant herds, hippos, crocodiles and exceptional birdlife, the Chobe River offers one of Africa's finest wildlife experiences. Return to Chobe House for dinner. Chalet guests dine aboard our floating restaurant, while villa guests enjoy a private dinner on their riverside terrace.

Wake beside the Chobe River and enjoy one final morning boat safari, where tea, coffee and traditional rusks are served as elephants, hippos and birdlife come to life in the soft morning light.

Return to Chobe House for brunch before setting off into Chobe National Park, where your fully serviced mobile safari begins. Venture far beyond the reach of most day visitors as your guide explores the park in search of elephants, lions, buffalo, giraffe and countless other species. Arrive at your private campsite in time for sunset, where our team has everything prepared for your arrival. Enjoy dinner around the campfire before spending the night beneath Botswana's spectacular star-filled sky.

Final Game Drive and Departure

Rise early for a final morning game drive as Chobe National Park awakens. The cooler temperatures provide excellent opportunities to encounter predators returning from the night's hunt, while elephants, buffalo and other wildlife begin another day in the wilderness.

Return to camp for breakfast before making your way back towards Kasane. The journey out of the park is still part of the safari, with opportunities for memorable wildlife sightings before arriving back in Kasane around midday for your onward journey.
