Welcome to Chobe National Park

Upon arrival at Kasane Airport, you'll be met by your guide and transferred to Chobe House, our boutique riverside lodge overlooking the magnificent Chobe River. Depending on your group size and availability, you'll stay in one of our spacious riverside chalets or our exclusive four-bedroom private villa.

After settling into your accommodation and enjoying a freshly prepared lunch, your safari begins with an afternoon boat cruise into Chobe National Park.

As you quietly explore the river, watch for elephants, hippos, crocodiles, buffalo and an extraordinary variety of birdlife. Return to Chobe House as the sun sets over the river. Chalet guests enjoy dinner aboard our floating restaurant, while villa guests dine privately on their riverside terrace.

Day Trip to Victoria Falls

After breakfast, depart for Victoria Falls, crossing the Botswana–Zimbabwe border to visit one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. Spend the day exploring the spectacular rainforest walkways and panoramic viewpoints overlooking Mosi-oa-Tunya - "The Smoke That Thunders".

There is also time to browse local craft markets, enjoy lunch at one of Victoria Falls' many cafés or restaurants, or choose from a range of optional activities, including a scenic helicopter flight or a visit to the historic Victoria Falls Hotel (extra costs to be paid by the guest). Return to Chobe House in the late afternoon for your final evening at the lodge, where a delicious dinner and warm Botswana hospitality awaits.

Morning Boat Cruise and Mobile Safari in the Afternoon

Enjoy one final morning boat safari on the Chobe River, taking in the peaceful atmosphere as the park awakens. The cool morning light offers excellent opportunities to observe elephants gathering along the riverbanks, hippos returning to the water, crocodiles basking on the shoreline and an incredible variety of birdlife. Tea, coffee and traditional rusks are served on board as you make the most of your final river safari.

Return to Chobe House for a leisurely brunch before packing your bags and setting off into Chobe National Park, where your fully serviced mobile safari begins. Leaving the river behind, the safari takes on a new character as your guide ventures far beyond the areas reached by most day visitors, adapting the route to recent wildlife sightings as you journey deeper into the wilderness. Arrive at your private campsite in the late afternoon, where our safari team has everything prepared. Relax around the campfire while our chefs prepare dinner.

Your guide will tailor the day's route according to recent wildlife sightings, exploring the famous Chobe Riverfront between Sedudu Island and Ihaha, where vast elephant herds, buffalo, lions, giraffe, hippos and an extraordinary diversity of birdlife are regularly encountered.

Enjoy a freshly prepared bush breakfast and picnic lunch in the heart of the park before continuing your afternoon game drive.

As the golden afternoon light settles across the floodplains, continue searching for memorable wildlife encounters before returning to your private campsite.

Final Game Drive and Departure

Wake to the sounds of the African wilderness and enjoy tea, coffee and a light breakfast before setting off on your final morning game drive. The cool morning hours are among the best times to explore Chobe National Park, with predators often still active and wildlife making the most of the cooler temperatures. Return to camp for a freshly prepared breakfast before packing up and beginning your journey back towards Kasane.

The drive out of the park remains part of the safari, with opportunities to stop for memorable wildlife sightings and photographs along the way before arriving back in Kasane around midday for your onward flight or accommodation.
