Depart Nairobi early in the morning for the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve. The drive takes approximately 5–6 hours through the dramatic Great Rift Valley, with a stop at the viewpoint for breathtaking panoramic views. As the northern tip of the vast Serengeti, the Mara hosts the spectacular seasonal migration of many thousands of wildebeest, zebras, and attendant predators. Arrive at your camp in time for lunch, then head out for an afternoon game drive.

Full Day Masai Mara Game Drive

After an early breakfast, spend a full day exploring the Masai Mara with a packed lunch provided. It's one of the few places where it's possible to see the Big Five during a morning's game drive. Many of the cheetahs are so tame they seek shelter from the hot sun under vehicles, and several even climb onto the roof to get a better view of prospective prey. For birds, almost 500 species have been recorded.

Masai Mara – Transfe to Lake Nakuru National Park

Arrive in time for lunch, then head out for an afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight. After an early breakfast, depart for Lake Nakuru National Park, crossing the equator and driving southwards through the Great Rift Valley. Known all over the world for its flamingos, Lake Nakuru is an alkaline lake recognized as one of the natural wonders of the world. At times there may be almost 2 million flamingos in residence. Lake Nakuru is even recognized as a rhino sanctuary, harboring a population of over 40 black and over 60 white rhinos. Arrive in time for lunch, then head out for an afternoon game drive.
