On this day, you will be packed with safari briefs on the general safari plan, accommodations and confirmation of the exactly time you will be picked up to start in the next day.

Day 2

Arusha-Tarangire National Park

Arusha-Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, your Joagro Safaris Tanzania guide will pick you up from your accommodation and begin your journey to Tarangire National Park, located approximately 2.5 hours from Arusha via scenic paved roads.

Known for the Tarangire River that flows through the park, this area becomes a vital water source for wildlife, especially during the dry season. During your game drive, you will have the opportunity to spot large elephant herds, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and other wildlife, with possible sightings of predators such as lions and leopards. The park is also famous for its ancient baobab trees and diverse birdlife.

Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park before continuing to your accommodation in Karatu for overnight.

After breakfast, your safari with Joagro Safaris Tanzania continues as you drive into the scenic highlands of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The landscape gradually changes as you leave the open plains behind and approach the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater, a natural wonder formed millions of years ago after the collapse of a large volcano.

From the crater rim, you will enjoy spectacular views of this vast natural enclosure, home to grasslands, forests, lakes, and a rich variety of wildlife. Descending into the crater, your expert safari guide will help you explore this unique ecosystem as you search for elephants, lions, wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, and the endangered black rhino.

After an exciting game drive and picnic lunch inside the crater, you will continue your journey through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area toward the Serengeti, entering through the southern plains where your Serengeti adventure begins.

Day 5

Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, you will depart for Lake Manyara National Park, a beautiful and diverse park located along the Great Rift Valley. Despite its compact size, the park offers an incredible variety of landscapes, from the shores of the alkaline lake to the lush groundwater forests and the dramatic escarpment rising above it.

During your game drive, you will have the opportunity to spot large troops of baboons, elephants moving through the forest, giraffes, zebras, and a wide range of bird species, including flamingos that gather around the lake. The park is also known for its rare tree-climbing lions, which make every visit unique.

Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park before continuing your final game drive. Later, you will depart Lake Manyara and begin your journey back to Arusha, Kilimanjaro International Airport, or your preferred drop-off location, marking the end of your memorable safari with Joagro Safaris Tanzania.
