Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, your safari guide will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park.

Upon arrival, enjoy your first exciting game drive through the park, renowned for its enormous elephant herds, iconic baobab trees, and the Tarangire River, which attracts wildlife throughout the year. Keep an eye out for lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, impalas, warthogs, and numerous bird species.

After a picnic lunch, continue exploring the park before heading to Tarangire Public Campsite.

Enjoy dinner prepared by your safari cook and spend the night camping under the African stars.

After breakfast, enjoy a full day exploring different areas of Tarangire National Park.

Your guide will take you to wildlife-rich locations where you can observe elephants gathering along the river, predators searching for prey, and numerous herbivores grazing across the open plains. Tarangire is also a paradise for bird lovers, with more than 500 recorded bird species.

Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park before continuing your afternoon game drive.

In the evening, return to Tarangire Public Campsite for dinner and another memorable night of camping.

Arrive at Simba Public Campsite, located on the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater, where you can enjoy spectacular views of the crater below.

Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive – Arusha

After an early breakfast, descend approximately 600 meters into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater for a full morning game drive.

The crater is home to more than 25,000 animals and offers one of the best opportunities in Africa to spot the Big Five, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, and the endangered black rhino. You may also encounter hippos, hyenas, zebras, wildebeests, gazelles, flamingos, and many bird species.

Enjoy a picnic lunch at the crater floor before ascending the crater and driving back to Arusha.

Arrive in Arusha in the late afternoon, where your safari concludes with drop-off at your hotel or the airport.
