Pick Up from Entebbe – Transfer to Kibale National Park

Your safari begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel or Entebbe International Airport by your professional driver-guide. After a short safari briefing, begin your journey to Kibale National Park in western Uganda. Drive through beautiful countryside, passing rolling hills, tea plantations, local villages, and lush farmlands. Stop for lunch at a selected restaurant before continuing your journey. As you approach Kibale National Park, enjoy the stunning views of the tropical rainforest and surrounding crater lakes. Arrive at your lodge in the evening, check in, enjoy dinner, and relax as you prepare for the exciting chimpanzee trekking experience the following day.

Chimpanzee Trekking & Cultural Experience

After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing by Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers before beginning your chimpanzee trekking adventure. Walk through the rainforest with experienced guides as you search for one of the park's habituated chimpanzee families. Once located, spend one unforgettable hour observing their behavior, listening to their calls, and taking photographs. Return to the lodge for lunch and some time to relax. In the afternoon, enjoy a cultural experience with the local community where you will learn about traditional customs, local farming practices, music, dance, and daily life. Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.
