Fly from Entebbe/Kampala to Kisoro Airstrip – Transfer to Gorilla Leisure Lodge

Your safari begins with an early transfer to Entebbe International Airport for your scheduled domestic flight to Kisoro Airstrip. The scenic flight takes approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes, offering spectacular aerial views of Uganda's countryside, rolling hills, crater lakes, forests, and the Virunga Volcanoes.
Upon arrival at Kisoro Airstrip, you will be welcomed by your professional safari guide who will transfer you to Gorilla Leisure Lodge, a journey of approximately 2 hours through the beautiful highlands of southwestern Uganda. Along the way, enjoy breathtaking views of terraced hillsides, local villages, and lush tropical forests.
Arrive at the lodge in time for lunch and spend the rest of the afternoon relaxing while enjoying the magnificent scenery surrounding Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. If time allows, you may take a guided community walk or simply unwind at the lodge in preparation for the next day's gorilla trekking adventure.

Gorilla Trekking Experience in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After an early breakfast, transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing by Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers. During the briefing, you will learn about gorilla trekking rules, safety guidelines, and what to expect during the trek.
You will then be allocated a gorilla family and begin your trek through the dense rainforest. Depending on the location of your assigned gorilla family, the trek can last anywhere between 2 and 8 hours, including the unforgettable one-hour encounter with these gentle giants in their natural habitat.
Watching mountain gorillas interact, feed, groom one another, and care for their young is one of Africa's most remarkable wildlife experiences and a memory that will last a lifetime.
After your trek, return to the park headquarters to receive your gorilla trekking certificate before driving back to Gorilla Leisure Lodge for relaxation.
Spend the evening enjoying the peaceful forest atmosphere while reflecting on your incredible gorilla encounter.

Transfer to Kisoro Airstrip – Fly Back to Entebbe

Enjoy a relaxed breakfast before checking out of the lodge. You will then be transferred from Bwindi to Kisoro Airstrip, a scenic drive of approximately 2 hours, passing through picturesque landscapes and local communities.
Board your scheduled domestic flight back to Entebbe International Airport, with a flight time of approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes.
Upon arrival in Entebbe, you will be met by your driver for a transfer to your hotel or the international airport for your onward flight, marking the end of your unforgettable 3 Days Fly-in Gorilla Trekking Safari.
