Your safari begins with an early morning pickup from your Nairobi hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport before departing for the world-renowned Maasai Mara National Reserve. Travel through the breathtaking Great Rift Valley, stopping at a scenic viewpoint to admire the spectacular escarpment before continuing to the reserve.

Arrive at Zebra Plains Mara Camp in time for lunch and check-in. Later in the afternoon, embark on your first exciting game drive across the vast savannah in search of elephants, lions, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, and many other wildlife species. Return to camp before sunset for dinner and your overnight stay.

After an early breakfast, depart with a packed picnic lunch for a full-day game drive through the spectacular Maasai Mara National Reserve. Explore different sections of the reserve in search of the Big Five, cheetahs, hyenas, giraffes, zebras, antelopes, and abundant birdlife. Visit the iconic Mara River, home to resident hippos and giant Nile crocodiles, and, during the Great Migration season, witness the dramatic wildebeest river crossings.

Enjoy your picnic lunch at a scenic location before continuing your wildlife adventure. In the evening you may opt to visit a traditional Maasai village(at an Additional cost) for an authentic cultural experience before returning to Zebra Plains Mara Camp for dinner and your overnight stay.

Maasai Mara National Reserve to Nairobi

After an early breakfast, check out and begin your journey back to Nairobi. En route, stop at the picturesque Lake Naivasha for a range of optional activities(at an Additional cost) which are a scenic boat ride, where you'll spot resident hippos and a remarkable variety of birdlife or a guided nature walk among free-roaming giraffes, zebras, antelopes, and other wildlife, offering fantastic photography opportunities.

Continue through the beautiful Great Rift Valley, arriving in Nairobi in the evening. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, marking the end of your unforgettable safari.
