Nairobi – Maasai Mara National Reserve

Depart Nairobi in the morning and journey southwest through the spectacular Great Rift Valley, stopping briefly at a scenic viewpoint for panoramic photographs. Continue through the countryside to the Maasai Mara, arriving at your lodge or camp in time for lunch.

After settling in, head out for your first afternoon game drive. Explore the rolling plains as your guide searches for lions, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, and an array of other wildlife. As the sun sets over the savannah, return to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

Full-Day Maasai Mara Safari

After an early breakfast, spend the day exploring the expansive Maasai Mara on exciting game drives. Venture deep into the reserve, visiting diverse habitats that support an incredible variety of wildlife. Keep your camera ready for sightings of cheetahs, leopards, elephants, hyenas, hippos, crocodiles, and numerous bird species.

A picnic lunch may be enjoyed in the reserve, allowing you to maximize your time in the wilderness. If traveling during the migration season, you may witness the dramatic wildebeest crossings that have made the Maasai Mara world-famous.

Return to camp in the late afternoon to relax before dinner and another peaceful night in the heart of the African bush.

Travel through the scenic Rift Valley once more, arriving in Nairobi in the late afternoon, bringing your memorable Maasai Mara safari to a close.
