Arusha to Tarangire

After breakfast, your Bald Eagle Safaris guide will meet you at your hotel in Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park, approximately 2.5 hours away.
Upon entering the park, begin your first game drive through diverse landscapes of open grasslands, seasonal swamps, river valleys, and towering baobab trees. Tarangire is renowned for its large elephant herds, often seen gathering along the Tarangire River, especially during the dry season.
Enjoy a picnic lunch at one of the park's scenic picnic sites before continuing your afternoon game drive in search of lions, giraffes, zebras, impalas, warthogs, buffaloes, and numerous bird species.
In the late afternoon, drive to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Full-Day Tarangire National Park

After an early breakfast, start your game drive for a full day of wildlife exploration.
Spend the day discovering different areas of the park, where your experienced guide will track wildlife and explain the fascinating ecology of this remarkable ecosystem. Besides its famous elephants, Tarangire is home to predators such as lions and leopards, as well as elands, hartebeests, kudu, ostriches, and over 550 recorded bird species, making it one of Tanzania's premier birdwatching destinations.
Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park before continuing your afternoon game drive.
Return to your lodge in the evening to relax and enjoy dinner under the African sky.

Tarangire National Park to Arusha

After breakfast, enjoy a leisurely morning before departing for one final game drive in Tarangire National Park. Early mornings are an excellent time to observe predators returning from the night's hunt and elephants becoming active along the river.

After a rewarding morning game drive, enjoy lunch before driving back to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon, where you will be dropped off at your hotel or Kilimanjaro International Airport.
