Your adventure begins with a pick-up from your hotel in Arusha, followed by an introduction to your professional safari guide. We will drive approximately two hours to Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s most scenic wildlife destinations.

The park is famous for its ancient baobab trees, diverse landscapes, and large elephant populations. During your game drive, you will have the opportunity to witness elephant families interacting in their natural habitat, while searching for other wildlife including giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and various antelope species. Predators such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards may also be spotted depending on animal movements and sightings reported by guides.

Enjoy a picnic lunch at the Tarangire River picnic site, where you can admire the beautiful surroundings and watch wildlife gathering near the water. After lunch, continue exploring the park on an afternoon game drive before exitmthe park and head to your accmmodation.

Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive & Return to Arusha

After breakfast, we descend into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater for an unforgettable full-day game drive. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is one of Tanzania’s most remarkable wildlife destinations, with fertile volcanic soils creating a diverse ecosystem that supports a large variety of animals.

The crater offers excellent opportunities to spot the Big Five, including lions, elephants, buffalo, and occasionally rhinos, while exploring its grasslands, forests, and lakes. Lake Magadi, a seasonal soda lake, attracts large numbers of flamingos and other bird species.

Beyond wildlife, the crater is also home to Maasai communities whose traditional bomas add a rich cultural element to the landscape. After an exciting day of exploration and wildlife viewing, we will drive back to Arusha in the evening, where your safari ends with drop-off at your hotel.

After breakfast, we will drive from Arusha to Materuni Village, located on the slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro. This authentic Chagga community offers a wonderful opportunity to experience local traditions, beautiful landscapes, and rural village life.

Your guided walk begins with a scenic hike through lush coffee farms and tropical surroundings towards the impressive Materuni Waterfalls. Along the way, your guide will share stories about Chagga culture, local plants, and the history of the area. With clear weather, you may enjoy breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro.

After visiting the waterfall, continue with a traditional coffee experience where you will learn how local coffee is grown, processed, roasted, and prepared. Later, you will be transferred back to Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport, marking the end of your memorable Tanzania adventure.
