Arusha to Serengeti National Park – First Safari Adventure

Your safari begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel in Arusha before departing for the world-famous Serengeti National Park. The journey takes you through the scenic Ngorongoro Highlands, where you'll enjoy beautiful views of rolling hills, volcanic landscapes, and traditional Maasai villages, with opportunities to stop at spectacular viewpoints. After entering Serengeti, enjoy an en-route game drive as you travel to Central Serengeti (Seronera), where wildlife sightings often begin. After lunch, continue with an afternoon game drive in search of lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, and many other animals. As the sun sets, head to your campsite for dinner and an overnight stay in the heart of the African wilderness.

Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area – Morning Game Drive & Scenic Journey

After an early breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive in Serengeti National Park, when wildlife is most active and the sunrise creates unforgettable views across the plains. Look out for lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, and other wildlife before leaving Serengeti.

Continue towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, travelling through changing landscapes from endless savannah plains to the beautiful highlands surrounding the crater. Enjoy scenic views and a stop at the Ngorongoro viewpoint to admire this natural wonder.

The Ngorongoro Crater is one of Africa’s most spectacular wildlife areas and offers excellent opportunities to spot the Big Five, including lions, elephants, buffalo, rhinos, and leopards.

Later, continue to Simba Campsite for dinner and overnight stay.

Optional: Hot air balloon safari over Serengeti or a visit to a traditional Maasai community.

Ngorongoro Crater – Wildlife Exploration & Return to Arusha

After an early breakfast, descend into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater for an unforgettable morning game drive. Often described as a natural wildlife sanctuary, the crater is home to an incredible variety of animals within its dramatic volcanic walls.

Explore the diverse landscapes of grasslands, forests, and wetlands while searching for wildlife including lions, elephants, buffalo, rhinos, zebras, and wildebeest. With luck, you may also spot leopards and other predators. The crater offers one of Tanzania’s best opportunities to witness the Big Five in a single day.

After the game drive and a picnic lunch overlooking the stunning surroundings, begin your journey back to Arusha. You will arrive in the afternoon and be dropped off at your hotel, ready for the next day’s adventure to Materuni Village.

Materuni Waterfalls & Coffee Experience

After breakfast, you will depart for Materuni Village, located on the beautiful slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro. Begin your adventure with a scenic walk through lush landscapes and coffee farms towards the impressive Materuni Waterfalls. Along the way, your local guide will share insights about Chagga culture, village traditions, and the surrounding environment.

After visiting the waterfall, enjoy a traditional coffee tour where you will learn about the local coffee-making process, from harvesting and roasting to preparing your own cup of fresh Tanzanian coffee.

Later, you will be transferred back to Arusha or Kilimanjaro International Airport, marking the end of your unforgettable Tanzania safari experience.
