Upon arrival in Nairobi, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative and transferred to Emara Ole Sereni Hotel. You'll enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure, with optional Nairobi excursions available for guests arriving early. Ideally located between Nairobi National Park and the city's business district, the hotel offers a unique blend of urban luxury and wildlife views. Nairobi - Samburu National Reserve

After an early breakfast, you depart Nairobi and travel north through Kenya's scenic central highlands, passing Thika, fertile tea and coffee plantations, rolling farmlands, and the foothills of Mount Kenya. You'll continue through Nanyuki before reaching Isiolo, the gateway to Kenya's remote northern frontier. From here, you proceed to Samburu National Reserve, arriving at Samburu Simba Lodge in time for lunch. In the afternoon, you will embark on your first game drive in this unique wilderness, renowned for its dramatic landscapes and rare wildlife, including the Samburu Special Five: the Grevy's zebra, reticulated giraffe, Beisa oryx, Somali ostrich, and gerenuk. You return to the lodge at sunset for dinner and an overnight stay. Samburu Simba Lodge, overlooking the Ewaso Nyiro River and Buffalo Springs, offers comfortable rooms, swimming pools, and spectacular views of the surrounding plains, where elephants and other wildlife are frequently seen.

Samburu National Reserve

You'll start the day with an early morning game drive, when wildlife is most active, offering excellent opportunities to spot elephants, lions, leopards, Grevy's zebras, reticulated giraffes, Beisa oryx, gerenuks, and a variety of birdlife. You return to the lodge for a hearty breakfast before spending the rest of the morning at leisure, relaxing by the swimming pool or on the terrace overlooking the Ewaso Nyiro River. After lunch, you will set out on another exciting afternoon game drive through Samburu National Reserve, returning to the lodge at sunset. Samburu National Reserve – Nyahururu

After breakfast, you depart Samburu National Reserve and journey south through Isiolo, passing the northern foothills of Mount Kenya and the town of Nanyuki. You'll continue to Nyahururu, a picturesque town near the Equator and home to the spectacular 74-meter Thompson Falls on the Ewaso Nyiro River. Stop at the Equator for memorable photographs before arriving at The Panari Resort Nyahururu in time for lunch. In the afternoon, you'll enjoy a guided nature walk through the resort's beautiful grounds, followed by a visit to Thompson Falls and the nearby Hippo Pools, where you may spot hippos and a variety of birdlife. You return to the resort in the late afternoon to relax and enjoy its tranquil forest setting. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at The Panari Resort Nyahururu in a Standard Room on a full board basis. Nestled within 20 acres of indigenous forest overlooking Thompson Falls Gorge and Marmanet Forest.

Nyahururu Falls – Naivasha

After an early breakfast, you will depart for Lake Nakuru National Park, one of Kenya’s most scenic wildlife destinations. You will enjoy a game drive through the park, renowned for its abundant birdlife, including flamingos (seasonal), pelicans, and other water birds. The park is also home to endangered Rothschild’s giraffes, black and white rhinos, lions, leopards, buffaloes, and a variety of other wildlife. After lunch at the lodge, you continue with a game drive as you exit the park before proceeding to Lake Naivasha, arriving in the afternoon. After check-in, you will enjoy a relaxing one-hour boat ride on Lake Naivasha, where you can spot hippos, fish eagles, pelicans, and other bird species. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at Lake Naivasha Simba Lodge in a Standard Room on a full board basis. You will ascend the scenic Mau Escarpment before travelling south through Narok, the gateway to the Masai Mara and the heart of Maasailand. You will enjoy views of Kenya’s fertile agricultural lands, with vast fields of wheat and barley stretching across the countryside. You'll arrive at the Mara in time for lunch, followed by some time to relax before embarking on an exciting afternoon game drive. You will explore the vast savannah in search of the Big Five, including lions, elephants, leopards, buffaloes, and rhinos, along with other wildlife species. You return to Mara Simba Lodge as the sun sets for dinner and an overnight stay in a Standard Room on a full board basis. Masai Mara National Reserve - Nairobi

After breakfast, you will depart the Masai Mara and travel back to Nairobi, passing through the scenic Maasai countryside with its rolling wheat and barley farms. You continue to Narok, the gateway town of Maasailand, before crossing the vast Great Rift Valley plains and ascending the escarpment via the historic road constructed during World War II. You arrive in Nairobi around midday, where you will be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, Panari Hotel, or Emara Ole Sereni Hotel for your onward travel arrangements.

This marks the end of your safari services.

This scheduled safari can also be arranged as a private departure with an exclusive vehicle on any preferred travel date.
