Enjoy an exciting game drive while searching for elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, wildebeests, and numerous antelope species. Tarangire is also a paradise for bird lovers, with over 550 recorded bird species. The Tarangire River attracts wildlife throughout the year, offering exceptional game-viewing opportunities and fantastic photography. After an early breakfast, descend into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater, the world's largest intact volcanic caldera and one of Africa's greatest wildlife destinations. Often called Africa's "Garden of Eden," the crater offers one of the best opportunities to spot the Big Five within a single game drive. Explore its diverse habitats, home to elephants, lions, buffaloes, zebras, hippos, hyenas, flamingos, and the rare black rhinoceros. Enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor before ascending the crater walls and driving back to Arusha. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to Arusha Airport for your scheduled flight back to Zanzibar, marking the end of your unforgettable Tanzanian safari adventure.
