Before leaving Arusha, you'll have a brief stop for any last-minute purchases or essentials. Then, set off on an unforgettable journey through Tanzania's most iconic wildlife destinations—Tarangire, Serengeti, and the Ngorongoro Crater.

Renowned for its magnificent ancient baobab trees and one of the largest elephant populations in East Africa, Tarangire offers an extraordinary introduction to your safari adventure. Day 4

Ngorongoro Crater - Arusha

After an early breakfast at the lodge, depart for the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater, a natural wonder formed millions of years ago and stretching over 600 meters deep. Descend into the crater floor for an unforgettable game drive in one of Africa’s most remarkable wildlife areas.

The crater is home to an incredible variety of wildlife, including large herds of wildebeest, zebras, buffaloes, elands, warthogs, hippos, and magnificent African elephants. It is also one of the best places to spot predators such as lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the elusive leopard.

You will also visit Lake Magadi, a shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner of the crater, where large flocks of flamingos and other water birds gather, creating a stunning scene against the dramatic backdrop of the crater walls. Enjoy a memorable day surrounded by breathtaking scenery and abundant wildlife before returning to your lodge.
