Nairobi - Masai Mara

Your safari starts with pickup from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or your Nairobi hotel. Travel from Nairobi towards the Masai Mara through the Kenyan countryside. Stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint for photos and a short break. Enjoy the wide views before continuing to the Mara. Arrive at Miti Mingi Eco Camp in time for lunch and check-in.

In the afternoon, head out for your first game drive. Your guide will choose good areas based on where wildlife has been seen. Look for lions, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras and other animals. Take photos, enjoy the views and learn more about the Mara from your guide. Return to camp in the evening for dinner and a peaceful night.

Full Day in Masai Mara

Imagine waking up to the sounds of the African bush. You may start your morning with an optional hot-air balloon safari at your own expense. Float above the Masai Mara as the sun rises and enjoy views of the plains and animals below. Alternatively, leave camp after breakfast with a packed lunch for a full-day game drive. Your guide will take you to good areas to search for the Big Five: lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards and rhinos.

During the great migration season, you may visit the Mara River and, if conditions are right, witness the famous river crossing. In the evening, enjoy a complimentary Maasai village visit, included when you book with us. Meet local people, see their homes, learn about their daily life and enjoy traditional songs and dances.

Masai Mara - Lake Naivasha

After breakfast, leave the Masai Mara and travel towards Lake Naivasha, enjoying the changing views of the Kenyan countryside along the way. Arrive at Hotel Chambai for lunch and check-in before taking some time to relax. In the afternoon, head to Lake Naivasha for a complimentary boat ride, included with your booking. Cruise across the calm waters, look for hippos, watch waterbirds and enjoy the beautiful lake views.

Alternatively, choose an optional guided nature walk (at your own cost). Walk along the lakeside with a local guide, learn about the plants and animals of the area, and look for giraffes, zebras, antelopes, birds and other free-roaming wildlife. Enjoy the fresh air and a closer view of nature before returning to the hotel for dinner and a relaxing evening.

Lake Naivasha - Nairobi

After breakfast, leave the Masai Mara and travel back to Nairobi, enjoying the views along the way. Arrive in Nairobi in the afternoon. If your flight is in the evening, you may choose to stop for lunch at a local curio shop at your own cost along the way to the Giraffe Centre. After lunch, continue with your optional visit to the Giraffe Centre at your own cost.

Get close to the beautiful Rothschild’s giraffes and feed them using special food provided at the centre. Enjoy fun moments and take photos from the feeding platform. Learn how the centre helps protect giraffes and discover more about these gentle animals. You may also enjoy a short nature walk and look for birds and other small animals. After the visit, you will be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) for your evening flight home.
