Depart Entebbe early for a 6–7-hour drive toward Queen Elizabeth National Park via the Masaka–Mbarara road. Stop at the Uganda Equator in Kayabwe for photos and a quick water experiment. Enjoy lunch at Igongo Country Hotel and Cultural Centre, with time for a traditional Ankole meal and museum visit. Continue to Mweya Peninsula for a 2-hour Kazinga Channel boat cruise, where you’ll watch massive hippo groups, Nile crocodiles, elephants, buffaloes, and many birds along the shoreline.

Kasenyi plains game drive and return to Entebbe
Kasenyi plains game drive and return to Entebbe
Begin the day with an early morning game drive on Kasenyi Plains, ideally timed to catch predators in action before sunrise. This is one of the best chances to spot lions and leopards, alongside Uganda kobs, warthogs, and giant forest hogs. As the morning progresses, keep scanning for more wildlife and birdlife across the open savannah. After the drive, check out of the park and return to Entebbe. Lunch will be served en route, completing your unforgettable safari.
