Arrival in Nairobi – Airport Transfer & Hotel Check-In

Upon arrival in Nairobi, clients will be met by our representative and transferred to their hotel for check-in. Accommodation will be on a bed-and-breakfast basis, with standard check-in time at 14:00.

Depending on the clients’ arrival time and personal preferences, they may choose to add an optional excursion or activity in Nairobi. This could include a city tour, cultural experience, or visit to one of Nairobi’s popular attractions. The optional activity can be arranged in advance or confirmed upon arrival, subject to availability and the time available before hotel check-in.

The evening will be free for clients to relax and prepare for the upcoming safari. Overnight at the selected Nairobi hotel on a bed-and-breakfast basis.

Nairobi to Maasai Mara – Scenic Drive & Afternoon Game Drive

After breakfast, depart Nairobi at approximately 07:30 and travel towards Kenya’s fertile highlands. Descend the dramatic Great Rift Valley Escarpment via the historic road constructed by Italian prisoners of war during World War II. Along the way, enjoy views of the charming chapel at the foot of the escarpment and pass the impressive Longonot Earth Satellite Station.

Continue across the Great Rift Valley, travelling through the scenic landscapes of Narok and vast fields of wheat and barley before arriving at the Maasai Mara in time for lunch.

After lunch, embark on your first exciting game drive in the Maasai Mara, renowned for its abundant wildlife and spectacular scenery. Look out for lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and other wildlife as you explore the reserve. Return to your camp or lodge around sunset for dinner and overnight.

Morning & Afternoon Game Drives with Maasai Village Visit

Following an early breakfast, depart for an exciting morning game drive across the reserve, offering excellent opportunities to spot lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and other wildlife in their natural habitat. Return to the camp in the mid-morning for some time to relax and enjoy lunch. After lunch, take a leisurely siesta before heading out for an afternoon game drive. As the afternoon unfolds, explore the reserve in search of more wildlife and enjoy the beautiful scenery and changing light. Later, visit a traditional Maasai village to experience the local culture, learn about the community’s traditions, and interact with the Maasai people. As the sun begins to set, return to the camp for dinner and a relaxing overnight stay, reflecting on another memorable day in the African wilderness.

Masai Mara to Lake Nakuru – Scenic Drive & Afternoon Game Drive

After breakfast, depart the Maasai Mara and journey through Kenya’s fertile “breadbasket”, passing vast fields of wheat and barley as you travel towards Narok, the heart of this Maasailand region. Continue across the expansive plains of the Great Rift Valley, keeping an eye out for giraffes, gazelles, and other wildlife before ascending the escarpment via Mai Mahiu.

Arrive at Lake Nakuru around midday and, once inside the park or conservancy, enjoy a game drive en route to your lodge. After lunch and a relaxing siesta, head out for an afternoon game drive to explore the area and discover its diverse wildlife. Lake Nakuru is renowned for its birdlife and offers the possibility of spotting flamingoes. The area is also home to black and white rhinos and the endangered Rothschild’s giraffes.

Return to the lodge as the sun sets for dinner and overnight.

Lake Naivasha Boat Ride & Journey to Nairobi

Following an early breakfast, depart for Lake Naivasha, where you will enjoy a scenic boat ride across the freshwater lake. Cruise through the tranquil waters while taking in the beautiful surroundings and looking out for hippos and a variety of bird species along the shoreline.

After the boat excursion at Lake Naivasha and nature walk at Hell's Gate National Park, leave the Rift Valley behind and continue your journey towards Nairobi. Arrive in the city in the late morning, where you will be dropped off at your designated drop-off point in the city centre at approximately 13:30. From here, you can proceed with your onward travel arrangements.
