Welcome to Uganda, the Pearl of Africa. Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be welcomed by your safari guide and transferred to your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe. Depending on your arrival time, you can relax or enjoy optional Entebbe activities such as visiting the Uganda Wildlife Education Centre, exploring the Entebbe Botanical Gardens, taking a boat trip on Lake Victoria, or visiting the local craft markets before preparing for your upcoming wildlife adventure.

Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park & Bigodi Wetland Walk

After breakfast, drive west through Uganda’s scenic countryside toward Kibale Forest National Park, famous for its incredible primate diversity. Enjoy views of villages, farmland, hills, and tea plantations along the way. In the afternoon, explore Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary on a guided nature walk, where you may spot birds, monkeys, butterflies, and learn about local community life.

Chimpanzee Trekking in Kibale & Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Begin the day with chimpanzee trekking in Kibale Forest, searching for habituated chimpanzee groups with experienced guides. Along the trail, look out for other primates and forest wildlife before spending time observing chimpanzees in their natural habitat. After lunch, continue to Queen Elizabeth National Park, enjoying the changing scenery from rainforest to savannah.

Queen Elizabeth Game Drive & Kazinga Channel Cruise

The highlight of your safari begins with a mountain gorilla trek in Bwindi. After a ranger briefing, enter the rainforest with experienced trackers to search for a gorilla family. Spend an unforgettable hour observing these endangered primates before transferring to the beautiful Lake Bunyonyi. Enjoy a relaxing sunset boat cruise on the lake, taking in the stunning views of the surrounding hills and islands before checking in at your lodge for the evening.
