Your adventure begins with an early morning departure from Arusha as you travel through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area towards the world famous Serengeti National Park. Along the way, enjoy ever changing scenery, from the fertile highlands to the endless plains that have made the Serengeti one of Africa's most celebrated wildlife destinations. Wildlife sightings often begin before reaching the park as giraffes, zebras and antelope roam freely across the landscape. Upon entering the park, your afternoon game drive introduces you to an incredible variety of wildlife, including elephants, lions, buffaloes, cheetahs, leopards and countless grazing animals. As the golden afternoon light spreads across the savannah, continue to your camp where dinner is served beneath the African sky before settling in for your first night in the Serengeti.

Full-Day Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park – Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha

Leave the Serengeti after breakfast and enjoy a final game drive as you travel towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend 600 metres into the Ngorongoro Crater, where one of Africa's richest wildlife habitats awaits. The crater floor supports an extraordinary concentration of animals, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, zebras, wildebeest, hyenas and the endangered black rhino. Your guide will explore different habitats while explaining how this remarkable ecosystem has remained one of Tanzania's finest wildlife destinations. After a picnic lunch on the crater floor, ascend the crater and continue to Arusha, arriving in the evening for dinner and your overnight stay.

Materuni Waterfalls, Chagga Coffee Tour & Chemka Hot Springs

The final day takes you to the green foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro, where Materuni Village offers a completely different side of Tanzania. A guided walk through coffee and banana plantations leads to the beautiful Materuni Waterfalls, where cool mountain water flows into a natural pool surrounded by forest. Continue to a local Chagga home and take part in every stage of traditional coffee making, from roasting and grinding the beans to brewing your own fresh cup while enjoying lively cultural songs. After a home cooked Chagga lunch and an introduction to traditional banana beer, continue to the crystal clear Chemka Hot Springs. Spend time swimming or relaxing beneath the shade of giant fig trees before your guide transfers you to Arusha or Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), bringing your safari to a memorable close.
