Day 2

After an early breakfast, depart for the world famous Serengeti National Park, Tanzania's most iconic wildlife destination, renowned for its endless golden plains, breathtaking landscapes, and exceptional concentration of wildlife. Upon entering the park, begin an unforgettable game drive through diverse habitats where you have the opportunity to encounter the Big Five lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino as well as large herds of wildebeest, zebras, giraffes, gazelles, elands, hyenas, cheetahs, hippos, crocodiles, and an incredible variety of bird species. Depending on the season, you may also witness the spectacular Great Migration, one of the world's most remarkable natural events.
As the sun begins to set over the Serengeti, drive to Friends Serengeti Camp for dinner and your overnight stay. The camp offers comfortable tented accommodation in the heart of the wilderness, where you can relax after an exciting day on safari.

After an early breakfast, set out for another unforgettable day exploring the Central Serengeti (Seronera), one of the most wildlife-rich areas in Serengeti National Park. Known for its year-round abundance of animals and breathtaking landscapes, the Central Serengeti offers excellent opportunities to spot the Big Five, including lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, and, with a bit of luck, rhinos. The Seronera River and surrounding plains attract large numbers of resident wildlife such as zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, impalas, topis, hartebeests, hippos, crocodiles, hyenas, jackals, and an impressive variety of bird species.
In the late afternoon, enjoy a final game drive as you make your way toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, taking in the changing scenery along the route. Upon arrival, check in at karatu villa, where you will be welcomed with warm hospitality.

Day 4

Begin an exciting game drive across the crater floor, where you will have excellent opportunities to encounter the Big Five, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, and the rare and endangered black rhinoceros. The crater is also home to large populations of zebras, wildebeests, gazelles, elands, warthogs, spotted hyenas, jackals, hippos, and more than 500 species of birds. Visit the beautiful Lerai Forest, the open grasslands, seasonal swamps, and Lake Magadi, where thousands of flamingos and other waterbirds can often be seen along the shores. Throughout the game drive, your professional safari guide will provide fascinating insights into the crater's unique ecosystem, volcanic history, wildlife behavior, and ongoing conservation efforts.
Later in the afternoon, ascend from the crater and drive toward marera Lodge. Upon arrival, check in and unwind in the lodge's peaceful surroundings after a memorable day of wildlife exploration.

Day 5

Upon entering the park, enjoy an exciting game drive through diverse landscapes while searching for elephants, lions, leopards, cheetahs, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, impalas, waterbucks, hartebeests, elands, warthogs, and the distinctive fringe eared oryx and greater kudu, which are more commonly found here than in many other Tanzanian parks. The Tarangire River attracts animals throughout the year, especially during the dry season, creating outstanding opportunities for wildlife viewing and photography. Bird enthusiasts will also appreciate the park's rich birdlife, with over 500 recorded species, including colorful kingfishers, hornbills, bee-eaters, secretary birds, ostriches, and a variety of birds of prey.
In the late afternoon, conclude your safari with a final game drive as you exit Tarangire National Park. You will then be transferred to the airstrip or airport for your scheduled flight back to Zanzibar.
