Arrival in Entebbe

On arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be met by our driver at the airport. You will do the clearing with immigration.

Fly to Kihihi Airstrip then transfer to Batwa Cultural Experience

Begin your journey with breakfast before your transfer to Entebbe International Airport for your scheduled domestic flight to Kihihi Airstrip, the gateway to Uganda’s Bwindi region.

Upon arrival at Kihihi Airstrip, you will be met by your safari representative and transferred to your lodge. Enjoy lunch at the lodge and take some time to relax and settle in.

In the afternoon, embark on a Batwa Cultural Experience, offering an opportunity to learn about the rich heritage, traditions, and way of life of the Batwa people. The experience provides insight into their deep historical connection with the forests of southwestern Uganda, including traditional practices, storytelling, music, and cultural demonstrations.

After the cultural experience, return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Gorilla Trekking at Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After breakfast, proceed to the park headquarters for a briefing before embarking on your gorilla trekking adventure in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

Trek through the lush rainforest in search of your assigned gorilla family and enjoy an unforgettable encounter with these magnificent primates in their natural habitat. The trek duration and difficulty will depend on the location of the gorillas.

After the trek, return to the lodge for relaxation, followed by dinner and an overnight stay.
