Your adventure begins with a short drive from Arusha to one of Tanzania's most scenic national parks. As you travel through lush montane forests open grasslands, and the tranquil Momella Lakes each corner of the park reveals a different side of its beauty. Watch giraffes move gracefully across the plains buffaloes graze in the distance, and black and white colobus monkeys leap through the forest canopy, while flamingos add splashes of color to the lakes when conditions are right.
The experience continues with a guided walking safari alongside an armed ranger offering a rare opportunity to explore the African wilderness on foot. Without the sound of a vehicle, you'll notice the smaller details of nature, from animal tracks to native plants, while gaining a deeper appreciation of the park's rich ecosystem.
