Day 1

After breakfast at your accommodation in Arusha, you will be met by our driver-guide, who will deliver a short briefing. Then, you'll head into the Tarangire National Park for a game drive. The park runs along the line of the Tarangire River and is mainly made up of low-lying hills on the Great Rift Valley floor. Its natural vegetation mainly consists of acacia woodland and giant African baobab trees, with huge swamp areas in the south. Both the river and the swamps act like a magnet for wild animals during Tanzania’s dry season. The Tarangire National Park is reputed to contain some of the largest elephant herds in Africa. This national park is also home to three rare species of animals: the greater Kudu, the fringed-eared oryx, and a few Ashy starlings. You'll have a picnic lunch, after which you'll continue with the game until late evening. Then, you'll drive to the Ngedere budget Lodge for an overnight stay.

Day 2

After breakfast in the morning, we will transport you to Serengeti National Park, the third-largest national park in Tanzania. The Serengeti is renowned for hosting the Big Five and a variety of other animals. You will enjoy the game drive allowing you to witness the diverse wildlife present in the park. After lunch, you will proceed with a game drive. Afterward, you’ll return to the accommodation camp for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 3

Depart the vast plains of the Serengeti after a final morning game drive and journey south toward the lush, emerald slopes of the Ngorongoro Highlands. As you transition from open savannah to rolling hills, enjoy wildlife viewing along the way and pause at Naabi Hill Gate or the Olduvai Gorge viewpoint to take in the dramatic landscapes. Ascend into the cooler, mist-draped highland forests surrounding the crater, arriving in the late afternoon with ample time to marvel at sweeping views over the crater rim before settling in for a cozy evening.

Day 4

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
Begin the day with an early-morning descent 600 meters onto the floor of the incredible Ngorongoro Crater, a natural haven boasting the highest density of big game in Africa. Spend the morning tracking wildlife across grassland and acacia forest, keeping an eye out for the elusive black rhino, magnificent tuskers, and prides of lions lounging near Lake Magadi. After a scenic picnic lunch in the heart of the caldera, ascend the crater walls and begin the comfortable drive back to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon to wrap up your journey.
