Discover the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve, home to Kenya's greatest concentration of wildlife and the legendary Great Migration. Spend two nights at Masai Mara Sopa Lodge, ideally located just outside the reserve for quick access to prime game-viewing areas. On arrival, settle into the lodge before visiting a nearby Maasai village, where you'll learn about traditional customs, dances, and daily life from the local community. The following day is dedicated to a full-day game drive deep into the reserve, tracking lion, cheetah, leopard, elephant, and, depending on the season, massive herds of wildebeest and zebra crossing the Mara River. After breakfast at Masai Mara Sopa Lodge, depart for Lake Nakuru National Park, arriving in time for lunch and an afternoon game drive. Famous for its dense population of both black and white rhino, Lake Nakuru is also a fantastic spot for birdwatching, with flocks of flamingos often gathering along the lake shore, depending on water levels and season. Keep an eye out for lion, leopard, giraffe, and buffalo as you explore the park's varied habitats, from acacia woodland to open grassland. Spend the night at Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge, set within the park with lovely views over the surrounding landscape. After breakfast at Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge, depart for Lake Naivasha, one of Kenya's most scenic freshwater lakes and a haven for birdlife. On arrival, check in at Lake Naivasha Sopa Resort before heading out for an afternoon boat ride on the lake, where you'll spot hippos wallowing in the shallows and a spectacular array of water birds, including fish eagles, pelicans, and kingfishers. Afterward, enjoy a guided walking safari on Crescent Island, a unique predator-free sanctuary where you can walk freely among giraffe, zebra, waterbuck, and gazelle. Return to the resort for a relaxing evening, comfortable accommodation, and a delicious dinner overlooking the lake.
