Your adventure begins with a morning pick-up from Entebbe by your Menlyn Tours & Travel guide. After a short briefing, embark on a scenic journey southwest towards Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Enjoy beautiful views of Uganda’s countryside, rolling hills, farmlands, and local communities along the way. You may make a brief stop at the Equator for refreshments and a photo opportunity before continuing the journey. Enjoy lunch en route before proceeding to Bwindi. Arrive at your lodge in the afternoon or evening, check in, and relax. Dinner and overnight at the lodge as you prepare for tomorrow’s gorilla habituation experience.

Gorilla Habituation Experience & Batwa Cultural Experience

After an early breakfast, drive to the park headquarters for a briefing before beginning your gorilla habituation experience. Accompanied by experienced UWA ranger guides and trackers, enter the dense Bwindi rainforest in search of a semi-habituated gorilla family. The trek can take several hours depending on the location of the gorillas and the forest terrain. Once you find them, you can spend up to four hours observing their natural behavior, feeding, movement, grooming, and social interactions. After the experience, return to your lodge for lunch and relaxation. Later, enjoy a Batwa cultural experience and learn about their traditions, history, music, and connection with the forest.

Transfer Back To Entebbe

After breakfast, check out of your lodge and begin your journey back to Kampala or Entebbe. Have a lunch stop along the way before continuing towards central Uganda. Your guide will ensure a comfortable journey and can share information about the places and communities you pass along the route. Depending on your onward travel arrangements, you will be dropped off at your hotel or Entebbe International Airport.
