Your Tanzania adventure begins in Arusha as you travel towards Tarangire National Park, a spectacular wilderness famous for its magnificent baobab trees and large elephant herds.

After entering the park, enjoy an afternoon game drive through its diverse landscapes. Keep watch for elephants gathering around water sources, giraffes browsing among the trees, zebras and wildebeest crossing the plains, and buffaloes moving through the woodland.

Your experienced safari guide will help you discover the quieter details of the park while giving you plenty of time for wildlife viewing and photography.

After breakfast, leave Tarangire and begin your journey towards the legendary Serengeti National Park.

The scenery changes dramatically as you travel west, with the landscape gradually opening into the vast plains of the Serengeti. Upon entering the park, your safari continues with a game drive en route toward the Central Serengeti, also known as the Seronera area.

This region is one of the Serengeti's most rewarding wildlife areas, with permanent water sources attracting animals throughout the year. Look out for lions, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest and, with luck, cheetahs and leopards.

Arrive at your accommodation in the evening, giving you time to relax and enjoy dinner in the heart of the Serengeti.

Wake up surrounded by the Serengeti and prepare for a full day dedicated entirely to wildlife exploration.

After breakfast, head out with your professional safari guide to explore the Serengeti at a relaxed pace. With the entire day available, there is no need to rush from one destination to another. Your guide can follow wildlife activity and spend more time at exceptional sightings.

The Seronera Valley is particularly rich in wildlife and offers opportunities to see large prides of lions, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes and herds of wildebeest and zebra. The area is also known for leopard sightings, particularly around the rocky kopjes and riverine habitats.

Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wilderness before continuing your afternoon game drive. As the sun begins to set across the plains, return to your accommodation for dinner and a peaceful evening.

After breakfast, enjoy a final morning game drive as you leave the Serengeti behind and continue towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Descend into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater for a spectacular game drive. The crater floor is home to an exceptional concentration of wildlife, making it one of the most rewarding places in Tanzania for game viewing.

Search for lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest and hippos while enjoying the dramatic scenery created by the crater walls. With favourable conditions, you may also have the opportunity to see the endangered black rhinoceros.

After your crater experience, enjoy a picnic lunch before ascending and continuing to Karatu. The town sits among the green highlands and coffee-growing landscapes surrounding the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

After breakfast, travel to Lake Manyara National Park, beautifully positioned beneath the Great Rift Valley escarpment.

Enjoy a morning game drive through the park's varied landscapes, including lush groundwater forests, open grasslands and the shores of the lake. Look for elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, baboons and a remarkable diversity of birdlife.

Lake Manyara is also famous for its tree-climbing lions. While sightings are never guaranteed, your guide will use local knowledge and recent wildlife activity to give you the best possible opportunity.

After the game drive, enjoy lunch before continuing to Arusha. Arrive in the afternoon and check into your accommodation for a comfortable final evening before your Materuni experience and departure the following day.

Take time to enjoy the peaceful surroundings, fresh mountain air and spectacular scenery before continuing with a traditional Tanzanian coffee experience. Local hosts will introduce you to the process of preparing coffee, from the beans to the final cup, while sharing insights into local traditions and everyday life.
