Luxury Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park

Today is the centrepiece of your luxury Rwanda gorilla safari.
After an early breakfast, your private guide transfers you to the gorilla trekking briefing area near Volcanoes National Park.
You will receive instructions about trekking procedures and appropriate behaviour around the gorillas before being assigned to a habituated gorilla family.
Accompanied by professional guides, trackers and rangers, begin walking through the forest.
The trek varies according to where the gorillas are located. Some families may be relatively accessible, while others can require a longer and more physically demanding hike through mountainous terrain.
Then comes the moment that defines the journey.
You may first notice movement among the vegetation before a mountain gorilla emerges. A powerful silverback might sit quietly nearby while juveniles play and females feed among the foliage. You will spend one hour observing the Gorillas.
