Your Kafu Safaris adventure begins with a warm welcome at Kigali International Airport, where our professional driver-guide will greet you with a personalized sign. After a brief safari orientation, enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant in Kigali, sampling authentic Rwandan cuisine. Depart for Musanze, the gateway to Volcanoes National Park, driving through Rwanda's stunning landscapes of rolling hills and terraced farmlands—earning the country its "Land of a Thousand Hills" nickname. The scenic drive offers panoramic views of the Virunga Massif's five towering volcanoes. Check into your comfortable eco-lodge, nestled amidst bamboo forests. In the afternoon, choose an optional community visit to engage with local villagers or explore the picturesque twin lakes, Bulera and Ruhondo, for spectacular volcanic vistas.
