Day 1

Transfer to Budongo Forest
After an early breakfast, depart Kampala or Entebbe in the early mornings for Budongo Forest via the Kampala–Masindi, Gulu highway. The drive takes approximately 5-6 hours, passing through scenic countryside, roadside markets, plantations, and rural settlements with stopovers to learn about Luweero Triangle historical sites of 1983 to 1986, have your hot lunch enroute at Kabalega Dinners highway restaurant.
After lunch, proceed to your accommodation check-in and refresh or take a rest as you wait to meet your guide for briefing about Budongo nature walk. Explore the edge of Budongo Forest and learn about; Tropical rainforest ecology, Medicinal plants used by both wildlife and local communities, Giant mahogany and ironwood trees, Forest butterflies and insects as well as Primates such as; Black-and-white Colobus monkeys, Red-tailed monkeys, blue monkeys and Olive baboons
You may also Luckly meet or hear chimpanzees calling from deeper forest sections.

Day 2
Royal Mile Birding Experience
Royal Mile Birding Experience
Wake up early and enjoy breakfast before heading to the Royal Mile, one of Uganda’s most famous forest birding trails. Originally a royal route for the Kings of Bunyoro, the Royal Mile is now a globally recognized birding hotspot due to its open canopy and excellent visibility. Spend the entire day birding with a professional bird guide expecting to encounter different species.
Budongo Forest supports over 360 bird species, making it one of Uganda’s richest forest birding destinations. While birding, you may also encounter, Chimpanzees, Colobus monkeys, Red-tailed monkeys, blue monkeys among others.
After our packed picnic lunch inside the forest, we shall continue birding along different sections of the Royal Mile, focusing on rare Guinea-Congo forest species and photography opportunities under towering mahogany trees. Visit Sonso river the well of darkness. Return to your lodge for dinner and relaxation.

Day 3
Polish Church visit Nyabyeya Heritage & Return to Kampala
Polish Church visit Nyabyeya Heritage & Return to Kampala
After breakfast, check out and drive to Nyabyeya for a guided cultural rural and historic Polish Church. Built between 1943 and 1945, the church was constructed by Polish refugees who settled in Uganda during World War II after fleeing Eastern Europe. The site remains a significant cultural and historical landmark which includes; History of Polish refugees in Uganda, Life in the Nyabyeya rural settlement, Exploration of the Polish cemetery, Stories of cultural interaction with local communities, Historical significance during World War II.
The surrounding open fields also offer opportunities to spot farmland and savanna bird species. Take a short-guided community walk around Nyabyeya to experience, Local farming practices, Village life and culture, Scenic countryside landscapes. In the afternoon, Proceed to Masindi for lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, begin the return journey
to Kampala or Entebbe. This marks the end of our tour!
