After an early breakfast, meet your professional english-speaking driver-guide and depart Kampala or Entebbe for northern Uganda. The journey follows the Kampala–Karuma–Gulu Highway, passing through rural villages, agricultural landscapes, and the scenic Nile region with lunch en route. Arrive in Gulu during the late afternoon. Check into your lodge and relax before dinner.

Day 2
Transfer to Kidepo Valley National Park
Transfer to Kidepo Valley National Park
Valley National Park. As you approach the park, enjoy spectacular views of vast savannah plains, rocky outcrops, and distant mountain ranges. Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch and later enjoy your first game drive through the Narus Valley, the park's prime wildlife viewing area. Possible sightings include:

* Rothschild's giraffe
* Zebra
* Jackson's hartebeest
* Uganda kob
* Oribi
* Waterbuck
* Lion
* Leopard (with luck)

Day 3
Hike to the IK Tribe on Mount Morungole
Hike to the IK Tribe on Mount Morungole
Approximately 6–8 hours (round trip) depending on fitness and trail conditions. Accompanied by local guides, ascend through rocky paths, grasslands, and mountain vegetation while enjoying spectacular views over Kidepo Valley and the surrounding Karamoja landscape. The IK are among Uganda's smallest ethnic groups and have preserved many of their traditional customs despite their remote location.
During your visit, you will experience; Traditional homesteads, IK cultural history, Indigenous farming methods, Traditional dances and songs, Local storytelling, unique mountain lifestyle, Handcrafted souvenirs. Enjoy a packed lunch during the hike. Descend in the afternoon and return to your lodge. Dinner and overnight.

Day 4-5
Kanangorok hot springs excursion
Kanangorok hot springs excursion
Rise early for another game drive through the remote Kidepo Valley, famous for its dramatic scenery and unique wildlife. Species commonly encountered include; Ostrich, Cheetah (occasionally), Bat-eared fox, Secretary bird, Abyssinian roller, Ground hornbill, Eland, Buffalo among others Continue to the Kanangorok Hot Springs, located near the South Sudan border.
Enjoy a guided nature walk while learning about the geology, ecology, and history of this remote region. Return to the lodge for lunch. Spend the afternoon at leisure, enjoying the lodge's views or relaxing before dinner.
The following day, after breakfast, enjoy a guided bush walk with an armed Uganda Wildlife Authority ranger. This walking safari provides opportunities to observe: Zebra, Buffalo, Antelope species, Birds, Butterflies, Indigenous plants, Animal tracks and signs. Kidepo Valley National Park is home to more than 470 recorded bird species, making it one of Uganda's top birding destinations.

Transfer to Entebbe
After an early breakfast, check out and begin your return journey to or Entebbe. Lunch will be served en route in Gulu. Arrive in Kampala or Entebbe during the evening, marking the end of your unforgettable Karamoja adventure.
