Welcome to Tanzania, the beginning of your unforgettable safari adventure. Upon arrival at the airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your professional safari guide and transferred to your accommodation. Recovering from your journey or enjoying the peaceful surroundings. Your guide will meet with you to provide a safari briefing, discuss the itinerary and answer any questions you may have before the wildlife adventure begins. This first evening offers an opportunity to settle in and prepare for the exciting days ahead.

Tanzania is renowned for its spectacular national parks, diverse wildlife and breathtaking landscapes, and your journey will combine some of the country’s most iconic destinations.

Day 2

After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s most scenic and wildlife-rich parks. The park is particularly famous for its enormous elephant herds, ancient baobab trees and seasonal wetlands that attract wildlife throughout the year.

Begin your game drive as you explore the park’s diverse landscapes, keeping watch for elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, impalas, lions and numerous bird species. Tarangire’s varied scenery, from open savannah to woodland and swamps, creates excellent opportunities for photography.

Enjoy a picnic lunch in a designated wilderness area before continuing your afternoon game drive. As the day progresses, follow the wildlife activity around the park’s water sources before departing toward your accommodation.

Dinner and overnight at your accommodation, where you can relax and enjoy the peaceful enviroments.

After breakfast, begin your journey toward the Western Serengeti, an area famous for its remote landscapes, exceptional wildlife and the seasonal movement of the Great Migration. The drive takes you deeper into Tanzania’s wilderness, with opportunities for game viewing along the way. During the May-to-July migration period, large herds of wildebeest and other migrating animals move through this region, creating spectacular wildlife encounters.

Upon arrival, begin an afternoon game drive, searching for wildebeest, zebra, gazelles, buffaloes, elephants and predators such as lions, leopards and crocodiles. Your guide will follow current animal movements and local conditions to provide the best possible experience.

Arrive at your camp or lodge in the evening, enjoy dinner and relax in the remote wilderness of Western Serengeti. Overnight in the Grumeti/Western Serengeti area.

Today is dedicated entirely to exploring the Western Serengeti and the Grumeti River ecosystem. Rise early for an exciting morning game drive when wildlife is particularly active and the soft light creates excellent photographic conditions. During the migration season, the Western Corridor can offer extraordinary opportunities to observe large herds of wildebeest and zebra moving across the plains.

The Grumeti River is one of the key features of this region, and your guide will monitor wildlife movements to determine the best areas to explore. Depending on the season and animal behavior, you may witness herds gathering near the river, crocodiles waiting in the water or predators taking advantage of the abundance of prey.

Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wilderness before continuing your afternoon safari. Then later on you'll return to camp in the evening for dinner and a well-deserved rest after an unforgettable day in the Western Serengeti.

Day 5

After breakfast, you'll leave the Western Serengeti and travel toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The journey takes you through changing landscapes as you approach the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s most remarkable natural wonders.

Descend into the crater for a spectacular game drive across its diverse habitats. The crater floor supports an impressive concentration of wildlife, offering opportunities to see lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, hyenas and numerous bird species. Enjoy a picnic lunch within the crater before continuing your exploration.

Later in the afternoon, ascend from the crater and continue to Karatu, a peaceful town situated near the Ngorongoro Highlands. Check into your lodge and enjoy some time to relax after the day’s safari. Dinner and overnight in Karatu, preparing for your final wildlife experience at Lake Manyara tomorrow.

After breakfast, depart Karatu for Lake Manyara National Park, a beautiful and diverse destination located beneath the dramatic escarpment of the Great Rift Valley. Begin your final game drive through the park, exploring its forests, open plains, wetlands and lakeshore habitats.
