Day 1

Your Tanzanian adventure begins in Arusha as you set off towards the Southern Serengeti, where the landscapes quickly transform into endless plains and some of the country’s most exciting wildlife territory. Upon reaching the Southern Serengeti, your game drive begins immediately. Keep your eyes open for lions, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and large herds of wildebeest gathering across the plains during the calving season.

As you explore deeper into the wilderness, stop in the afternoon for a packed picnic lunch surrounded by the sights and sounds of the Serengeti. There’s nothing quite like enjoying lunch with the African bush stretching endlessly around you.

After lunch, continue your game drive into the afternoon and evening, following fresh wildlife sightings and enjoying the changing light across the plains. As the sun begins to set, make your way to Safari Haven Migration Camp for dinner, relaxation, and a peaceful night surrounded by the sounds of the wild.

Day 2

Southern Serengeti / Ndutu

Southern Serengeti / Ndutu

Wake up to the sounds of the African bush and enjoy a hearty breakfast at Safari Haven Migration Camp before heading out for a full-day game drive across the Southern Serengeti and Ndutu. Today is all about getting deeper into the wilderness and experiencing the incredible wildlife activity that makes this region so special during the Great Migration and Calving Season.

Spend the day exploring the open plains in search of huge wildebeest and zebra herds, newborn calves, and the predators that follow them. Keep watch for lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, and other wildlife as your guide follows the most exciting sightings and shares fascinating insights along the way.

In the afternoon, find a beautiful spot in the wilderness to enjoy your packed lunch before continuing your game drive.

As evening approaches, make your way back to Safari Haven Migration Camp for dinner and a peaceful overnight stay surrounded by the sounds of the Serengeti.

Day 3

After breakfast, set out towards the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater with your packed lunch ready for another unforgettable day. Upon arrival, descend into the crater and begin your game drive through one of Tanzania’s most remarkable wildlife destinations.

Keep your camera ready as you explore the crater floor, where you’ll have the chance to spot the Big Five alongside other wildlife. Your guide will follow the most promising sightings, giving you the opportunity to experience the crater at its best.

In the afternoon, pause within the crater to enjoy your packed lunch and a champagne celebration surrounded by incredible scenery and wildlife. Afterwards, continue your game drive before making your way back up the crater walls in the late afternoon.
